NDT Assistant Technician | Aegeus Inspection Solutions

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Aegeus Inspection Solutions, located in our Long Beach facility. Aegeus provides essential inspection services, ensuring quality and safety for clients across various industries. This entry-level position is crucial for supporting our NDT Technicians and offers an invaluable opportunity for individuals to begin or advance their careers in the Non-Destructive Evaluation industry by learning all aspects of our services.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person, Long Beach, CA
• Pay: $20–$22 hourly
• Mission: This person learns all aspects of inspection services and supports technicians in project execution and daily tasks.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learning & Development: Learn all aspects of inspection services directly from experienced NDT Technicians, gaining foundational knowledge in Non-Destructive Evaluation.
• Project Assistance: Assist NDT Technicians in the execution of various projects and complete daily assigned tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
• Documentation Support: Aid Technicians with the organization and accurate reporting of all services provided, contributing to comprehensive record-keeping.
• Administrative Preparation: Prepare, set up, and finalize all necessary paperwork diligently, adhering to both client and company requirements for documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. This is an entry-level position with minimum or no prior experience necessary, focused on on-the-job learning and growth. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, with employment eligibility verification required at hiring, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Skills: Capability to assist senior technicians in various project tasks and learn complex inspection procedures. Ability to efficiently organize information and prepare comprehensive reports. Proficiency in preparing, setting up, and accurately completing essential administrative and client-specific paperwork. Must also meet minimum company requirements to safely operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under the Company insurance program.
• Bonus: Prior experience within the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industry is highly desirable and preferred for this role, offering an advantage to candidates.
