The Tone:
This is an internship at Simon Quick Advisors, LLC, located in Morristown, NJ. Simon Quick Advisors is an independent, employee-owned RIA that offers holistic financial planning solutions for affluent families, business owners, and executives. This role is vital for providing support across client service and investment research, giving interns broad exposure to the business and preparing them as generalists within the financial planning and investing sector.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Provide daily office support, including scanning documents, filing statements, and answering phones.
• Client Preparation: Work with the client service team to prepare portfolio analytics and presentation materials for client and prospect meetings.
• Client Engagement: Attend client calls that cover topics such as market outlook, portfolio performance, and financial planning strategies.
• Research Management: Create manager profiles within a proprietary database and liaise with investor relations departments as needed.
• Market Research: Generate research surrounding macro events affecting the investment community.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student (Junior or Senior preferred) pursuing an undergraduate degree.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and written/oral communication skills; high attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Bonus: Knowledge of investing and financial markets.
