Investment Banking Intern | Wall Street Oasis
The Tone:
This is a 10-week virtual internship at Wall Street Oasis, offered through its Global Talent Program. Wall Street Oasis is actively screening thousands of top students globally to identify future finance leaders, partnering with leading boutique investment banks across the US, UK, APAC, Europe, and MENA markets. This highly selective role is crucial for providing unparalleled hands-on experience, intensive training, and direct exposure to real investment banking work, significantly boosting the intern’s practical skills and professional resume.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Undergo Intensive Training (Weeks 1-2): Kickstart the internship with two weeks of rigorous, in-house virtual training led by industry experts, gaining a strong foundation in core investment banking skills. This includes mastering 3-Statement Financial Modeling, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Analysis, Trading Comparables (Comps), Precedent Transactions, Advanced Excel & PowerPoint techniques, and Industry Research & Sourcing Strategies.
• Apply Skills to Live Projects (Weeks 3-10): Following successful completion of the initial training and assessments, you will be introduced to a Managing Director or Partner at one of our boutique investment bank partners. For the subsequent eight weeks, you will work directly on live projects, providing invaluable support with critical tasks.
• Contribute to Deal Execution: Directly assist with essential aspects of ongoing deals, including pitch book development, comprehensive valuation analysis (Comps, DCFs), financial modeling, and sourcing & due diligence efforts.
• Conduct Critical Research: Perform detailed industry and company research to inform strategic decisions and support various phases of deal execution.
• Receive Structured Mentorship: Benefit from a structured learning environment provided by our partner firms, ensuring active engagement and continuous development through a minimum of one 30-minute weekly call for deliverables, feedback, and guidance.

• Background: A highly motivated high-potential student, typically in their 1st or 2nd year of university, who is eager to get a significant head start in investment banking and build a compelling professional CV. This program is designed for individuals seeking practical, hands-on experience.
• Experience: A candidate who demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous learning and excelling within a challenging and demanding professional environment. The program values candidates who are hungry and quick learners.
• Skills: An aptitude for developing core investment banking skills, including financial modeling, valuation analysis (e.g., DCF, Comps), advanced Excel functionalities, and effective PowerPoint presentation techniques.
