Event Coordinator | Revive Saree Organization

The Tone:

This Event Coordinator role is crucial for supporting the planning and execution of on-site events, which serve to engage visitors, share vital information about the organization’s mission, and cultivate welcoming, inclusive experiences for all community members.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Coordination: Support the comprehensive planning, organization, and execution of various on-site events in the United States.
• Logistics Management: Assist with critical event logistics, including scheduling, venue setup, and coordinating vendors and day-of-event operations.
• Guest Engagement: Engage visitors to share information about sustainable fashion and the organization’s mission, ensuring welcoming and inclusive guest experiences.
• Marketing & Partnerships: Support event marketing by preparing basic promotional materials and coordinating effectively with volunteers and community partners.
• Performance Improvement: Track event details and provide constructive post-event feedback to continuously enhance future activities.

• Background: Early career individuals or students passionate about sustainable fashion, community service, or non-profit work, with a strong commitment to fostering inclusivity and respect for diverse communities. This role requires an eagerness to learn and take initiative.
• Experience: Demonstrated event coordination skills, encompassing the ability to organize timelines, allocate resources, and manage logistics effectively for various types of events.
• Skills:
• Exceptional Communication and Customer Service abilities, ensuring effective interaction with guests, volunteers, partners, and internal team members.
• Fundamental Sales and outreach capabilities, useful for promoting events, driving participation, and supporting potential fundraising or merchandise efforts.
• Robust organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, enabling the efficient management of multiple tasks within a busy event environment.
• Proficiency in using basic digital tools such as email, spreadsheets, and shared calendars to support event operations.
• Bonus: Prior event, customer-facing, or volunteer experience is beneficial, as is familiarity with social media platforms for event promotion.
