What You’ll Actually Do
• Marketing Strategy: Assist in executing comprehensive marketing strategies designed to increase brand visibility and reach, supporting the overall objectives of Open Threads and its various programs.
• Social Media Management: Ideate, produce, and schedule engaging content for key social media accounts, including Instagram and Facebook, ensuring firm branding is consistently maintained across all platforms.
• Brand Development: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, and actively engage with customers and the community to strengthen Open Threads’ brand presence and foster meaningful engagement.
• Campaign Coordination: Coordinate various marketing and public relations campaigns from conception to execution, assisting with all public relations opportunities to promote the organization’s mission and programs.
• Event Sourcing: Actively research and source potential event and tabling opportunities to represent Open Threads, increasing community outreach and engagement within Cleveland and surrounding areas.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a student in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Fashion, demonstrating a foundational understanding of relevant principles.
• Experience: Proven experience in conducting market research and contributing to the development of marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility and audience reach. Requires a basic understanding of sales processes and strategies that support marketing efforts, alongside familiarity with various social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective engagement with a diverse range of audiences. Possesses proactive problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt quickly within a work environment.
