Entry-Level Project Manager | Epic

The Tone:
This is a full-time, entry-level role at Epic, based on our campus in Madison, WI, which requires relocation to the area. Epic builds and implements industry-leading software solutions designed to save lives and significantly improve patient care across healthcare organizations globally. As an Entry-Level Project Manager, you will be instrumental in driving impactful projects with the most innovative health systems on the planet, including major systems like Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins. Your work involves leading software installations, ensuring the successful adoption of our technology by newcomers to the Epic community, presenting to hospital leadership, coordinating comprehensive end-user training, and providing crucial support as healthcare providers transition to using our software.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Drive and manage impactful projects aimed at improving patient care in diverse healthcare organizations.
• Software Implementation: Lead teams during software installations and ensure the successful integration for new customers joining the Epic community.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present project progress, plans, and outcomes to hospital leadership and key stakeholders.
• Training Coordination: Coordinate and manage end-user training programs to prepare healthcare providers for software adoption.
• Go-Live Support: Provide comprehensive, hands-on support as healthcare providers transition and go live with Epic’s software.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or greater in any academic major, aligning with an entry-level career path in project management.
• Experience: A demonstrated history of both academic and professional success. No prior software experience is required for this role.
• Skills: Strong foundational project management abilities; willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, typically involving 1-2 trips per month lasting 2-4 days; eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship; and willingness to relocate to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance provided).
