This is an internship at Salt River Project, located in the greater metropolitan Phoenix area, AZ. SRP is one of the largest public power and water utilities in the U.S., providing electricity to approximately one million customers. This College Intern position is part of the End User Support team and plays a vital role in improving stakeholder experiences by providing efficient self-service and flexible support channels for SRP employees.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide on-site support in a walk-up support center for IT issues, requests, and devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and software.
• Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve issues with applications, operating systems, services, hardware, network connectivity, and other infrastructure components.
• Collaborate: Partner with other support teams and tiers by providing knowledge and technical assistance to fulfill requests and resolve issues.
• Manage Tickets: Operate within defined processes and procedures for Incident Management, Knowledge, and Request Tickets to ensure efficient work order management.
• Document: Create comprehensive knowledge articles for both Support and Business stakeholders to enhance self-service capabilities and information sharing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience: Experience with Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems, Microsoft Office productivity suite, and Android/iOS mobile devices. Demonstrated ability to work with clients of varied technical skill levels.
• Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, including an understanding of good documentation practices. Well-organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bonus: College-level coursework (100 or higher) from an accredited institution is preferred.
