Acquisitions Intern | Acadia Realty Trust

The Tone:
Acadia Realty Trust is an equity REIT focused on profitable growth via core and investment management platforms. We build a location-driven portfolio in key urban retail corridors. This role supports the Acquisitions team in identifying, analyzing, and presenting real estate acquisitions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Evaluation: Assist in evaluating potential acquisitions, redevelopments, and ground-up developments.
• Modeling: Build institutional quality financial models using Excel and Argus.
• Due Diligence: Assist in the acquisition due diligence and closing process.
• Presentation: Prepare evaluations for presentation to senior management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completed junior year of college, enrolled in an accredited degree program in commercial real estate, business, or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Experience: Unrestricted work authorization in the US without a visa or sponsorship.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and adept at financial modeling with Argus.
