About the Role
This role is key to building AI systems that empower the Product Management team to work faster and smarter, including creating a knowledge base for the Android product management team. It also involves co-developing Elo’s first AI product for Payment Devices. As a company that invented the touchscreen over 50 years ago, Elo is dedicated to offering innovative solutions to tomorrow’s challenges and seeks someone to help integrate AI into their product development and sales strategies to create new revenue streams.
What You’ll Do
• Build AI systems to help the Product Management team work faster and smarter, including a knowledge base that powers AI agents for the Android product management team
• Co-develop Elo’s first AI product for Payment Devices alongside the Payment Devices PM
• Write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and drive them through engineering, operations, sales, and pricing stakeholders
• Schedule and lead cross-functional meetings, coordinating across engineering, operations, sales, and pricing teams
• Build AI-powered tools (with AI assistance) to grow the sales funnel and payment business, creating new revenue streams for Elo
• Evaluate and leverage new AI tools to improve team productivity and efficiency
You’re a Good Fit If You
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (junior or senior standing) in Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
• No previous professional experience required
• Strong communicator who’s comfortable leading meetings and working across teams
• Curious about AI/ML, product management, and the intersection of technology and business
• High agency & proactive with projects to show this skill
• Ability to lift up to OSHA single person lift requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to work a standard full-time schedule
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule, in the Milpitas office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Bonus Qualifications
• Previous software engineering or product management internship experience
• Comfortable writing basic code or scripting (Python, etc.) you don’t need to be a software engineer, but technical fluency is a plus
Role Highlights & Compensation
• Starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $25.00 – $30.00 hourly is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
