If you are looking to do the most meaningful work of your career, contribute to advancing our customers’ and partners’ AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in collaborative success, then come build with us at Crusoe.

What You Will Do: Hands-On Responsibilities

As a Construction Management Intern, you will gain exposure to critical phases of our projects, including:

Project Controls: Directly assist Project Managers (PMs) with the crucial processing of RFIs (Requests for Information), Submittals, and Change Orders.
Scheduling: Actively help maintain and update intricate project schedules using industry-standard tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; diligently track milestones and proactively flag potential delays.
Field Coordination: Conduct regular job site walks (or virtually review site progress) to monitor safety compliance, ensure rigorous quality control, and confirm strict adherence to design specifications.
Vendor Management: Coordinate proactively with subcontractors, material suppliers, and design teams to ensure the just-in-time delivery of critical components, minimizing project disruptions.
Cost Management: Assist in detailed budget tracking, precise quantity take-offs, and thorough invoice verification to maintain financial control.
Safety First: Champion Crusoe’s unwavering safety culture by actively participating in safety audits and engaging in essential toolbox talks.

Who You Are: Qualifications for Success

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
Note: Preference given to students graduating between December 2026 and Spring 2027.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel) is required. Prior experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or Primavera P6 is a strong plus.
Soft Skills: You are a clear and effective communicator who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone. You possess true “grit” and have demonstrated an ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Mobility: Willingness to travel to project sites if required, to gain direct, on-the-ground experience.

The 12-Week Roadmap: Your Structured Learning Journey

Our summer internship is meticulously structured to ensure you gain a comprehensive, holistic view of the entire construction lifecycle:

Weeks 1-4 (Onboarding & Pre-Construction): You will be immersed in learning our core systems (Procore/Financials), gain a deep understanding of the scope of upcoming builds, and actively assist with estimation and bidding processes.
Weeks 5-8 (Execution): This phase involves a deep dive into active project management. You will be entrusted with ownership of a specific work package or process (e.g., independently managing the electrical submittal log for a live project).
Weeks 9-12 (Closeout & Review): You will assist with critical punch lists and project commissioning. The culmination of your experience will be a summer capstone project presentation to Crusoe leadership, showcasing your contributions and insights.
