What You’ll Actually Do
• Feature Development: Lead the design and development of new features and enhancements for the core SaaS platform, ensuring high quality and scalability.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in primary languages, and participate in code reviews.
• Cloud Architecture: Architect and implement solutions on cloud platforms, leveraging services like serverless functions, message queues, and containerization.
• Team Collaboration: Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentorship: Guide junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the engineering team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. This is a Senior-level role focused on modern software engineering principles.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience. Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, Node.js/TypeScript). Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and demonstrable experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Skills: Proficiency with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering best practices. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a related field. Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and distributed systems. Prior experience in a SaaS product development environment, contributions to open-source projects, or relevant cloud certifications are also valued.
