What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software features and services for the core platform.
• Code: Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and maintainable code in an agile development environment.
• Collaborate: Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, UX/UI, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Mentor: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and contributing to a strong team culture.
• Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot and resolve challenging technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in building large-scale distributed systems or platform services.
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or C++; strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and message queues; solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Bonus: Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes); familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) if applicable; prior experience in a technical leadership or mentoring role; contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
