Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex new features and functionalities across our platform, ensuring high quality and scalability.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and security best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to evolve our technology stack and infrastructure to meet future business needs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex production issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective, long-term solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and incorporating relevant advancements into our processes.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong proficiency in front-end development: Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and extensive experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Robust back-end development skills: Proven experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or Go, including building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Database expertise: Solid understanding and practical experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including deploying and managing applications.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket workflows.
• Experience with writing comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, performant, and secure solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Leadership experience, including leading small teams or significant technical projects.
