What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable software features and components.
• Develop: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in [e.g., Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript] for [e.g., backend services, frontend applications, mobile platforms].
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on backend, full-stack, or distributed systems.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#); strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes); solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and data structures; experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB); familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems; familiarity with specific frameworks or libraries relevant to our stack (e.g., Django, Flask, Spring Boot, React, Angular); experience working with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis); prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role within an engineering team; contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
