The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic product development team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications that power our core services. You will work across the entire stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and database management, contributing significantly to the architecture and implementation of new features and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and functionalities across our web platforms, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in both front-end (React, TypeScript) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Java) environments.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define specifications, plan sprints, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to shape the future of our technical stack and infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain robust unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending their adoption where appropriate.

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
• Expert proficiency in modern front-end frameworks, specifically React.js, along with extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in at least one back-end language/framework such as Node.js (Express), Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
• Extensive experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
