What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and maintainable software systems and features.
• Develop: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in Python/Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Architect: Contribute to architectural discussions and drive technical decision-making within the team.
• Mentor: Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level software engineers, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend or full-stack engineering, and demonstrated experience with API design and development (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or C#, extensive experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bonus: Experience with frontend frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js), knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects, experience in a leadership or senior mentorship role, and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
