What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to residents, guests, staff, and visitors by executing security procedures and location-specific policies.
• Incident Response: Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, documenting all relevant details.
• Site Patrols: Conduct regular and random patrols of the location’s interior common areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Access Monitoring: Monitor and control access to the location by observing arrivals and departures, verifying visitor information when required, and reporting any unauthorized activity.
• Resident Support: Foster a welcoming and respectful environment by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting individuals with security-related concerns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years of age for this unarmed position.
• Experience: This is an entry-level role; no specific prior experience is required, but a foundational understanding of security procedures is beneficial.
• Skills: Demonstrated abilities in customer service, calm incident response, consistent patrol execution, access control observation, and supportive communication.
• Bonus: A guard card and/or license is preferred, though licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
