The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: Vancouver, WA (In-person)
• Pay: $19 hourly
• Team: Home Loans division
• Mission: This intern will support the Home Loans division by assisting with reporting, analytics, and learning the fundamentals of mortgage origination to help the credit union meet its growth objectives.
• Tech Stack: Encompass, Microsoft products (Word, Excel)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Dashboard: Assist in the development of a division analytics dashboard.
• Reporting: Utilize the Encompass loan system to build production and operational reports.
• Market Research: Monitor daily pricing surveys for home loans.
• Education: Learn about various types of residential loans, how they function, and industry trends.
• Contribution: Understand and contribute to how the credit union earns income from loan originations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current college/university student majoring in business, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel) and the ability to become proficient with the loan origination system (LOS) as required.
• Skills: Superior written and verbal communication, team orientation, strong analytical and mathematical skills, detail-orientation, excellent work ethic, and strong time-management skills with the ability to manage high volumes of detailed work under tight deadlines.
