What You’ll Actually Do
• Platform Design: Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance microservices and APIs for the core AI platform, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product managers to translate infrastructure needs into robust software solutions.
• Data Pipeline Optimization: Implement and optimize complex data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and serving large datasets essential for AI model training and inference.
• MLOps Streamlining: Develop and enhance tools and frameworks to streamline the entire MLOps lifecycle, including model versioning, automated deployment, and monitoring.
• System Reliability: Ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of the platform through rigorous testing, code reviews, and active participation in on-call rotations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with a strong track record of building robust software systems.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a significant focus on backend systems, distributed systems, or platform engineering.
• Skills: Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++; demonstrable experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes; strong understanding of distributed systems concepts and microservices architecture; experience with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Bonus: Familiarity with data streaming technologies like Kafka or Kinesis and big data processing frameworks like Spark; experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, or MLOps tools and practices.
