• Team: Reports to Payroll Supervisor, collaborates with Data Collection and other departments
• Mission: Ensures accurate and timely payroll processing for field employees, particularly those involved in fruit harvesting.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Payroll application
What You’ll Actually Do
• Attendance Management: Audit and accurately import field employee attendance data in a timely manner.
• Payroll Adjustments: Process various payroll adjustments, including pay rate changes, lost time, and deductions.
• Workflow Management: Manage the payroll workflow to ensure accurate processing and adherence to critical deadlines.
• Data Reporting: Provide accurate reports related to fruit harvesting and employee timekeeping for payroll processing.
• Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive payroll reports and answer employee and management questions about payroll data.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or equivalent, with foundational knowledge in office clerical functions.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in office clerical functions, with payroll experience strongly preferred.
• Skills:
* Fluent communication (verbal, listening, written) in English and Spanish.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
* Strong customer service orientation.
• Bonus: Valid California Driver’s license with insurability under the company’s policy; willingness to travel up to 5% to local ranches.
