AMI Analyst | TEKsystems
The Tone:
This is a contract role at TEKsystems, located in Westwood, MA with a hybrid work model. This AMI Analyst role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency by resolving exceptions within Advanced Metering Infrastructure systems, ensuring accurate and timely meter data flow, and coordinating with various internal and external teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Exception Resolution: Resolve exceptions occurring between the work order management system and the billing system to maintain data accuracy.
• Case Investigation: Review OMNI and MATS notes, check property details on Google Maps, and view assessor documents to understand case specifics.
• Documentation and Communication: Document findings in appropriate systems, such as Jira, and contact customers, landlords, or property managers to resolve issues.
• Field Coordination: Make contact, schedule appointments, create work orders, and facilitate necessary exchanges like meter deployments.
• Persistent Issue Resolution: Perform additional call attempts, conduct blind field “cold calls,” and participate in final deployment roundtables for unresolved cases.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma required; deep understanding of metering infrastructure and data management is essential for this entry-level role.
• Experience: Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Skills: Strong Customer Service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and an understanding of AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) concepts.
• Bonus: College graduate preferred.
