Mechanical Maintenance Interns | Central San
The Tone:
This is a temporary, full-time internship at Central San, located at the Central San Wastewater Utility. Central San is seeking two highly motivated Mechanical Maintenance Interns to join its Operations Department within the Plant Maintenance Division. This role offers a unique opportunity for students to bridge their academic knowledge with practical, hands-on experience in a critical wastewater utility setting, gaining invaluable insight into the operational aspects of mechanical maintenance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Execute: Perform a variety of mechanical maintenance activities on a wide range of machinery and equipment.
• Assist: Provide support for corrective maintenance tasks to address identified equipment issues.
• Contribute: Help implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
• Support: Participate in predictive maintenance initiatives aimed at anticipating and mitigating potential equipment failures.

• Background: Academic standing as a junior or senior student, current graduate student, or recent graduate within the past 12 months. Alternatively, current enrollment in a vocational school program such as Instrument Tech, Machinist, or Mechanical Tech.
