What You’ll Actually Do
• Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and services for primary web applications, encompassing both front-end user interfaces and back-end microservices.
• Architecture: Actively participate in architectural discussions, contributing to the design and evolution of our system architecture to ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Quality Assurance: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code, conducting thorough code reviews and promoting high standards and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure the high availability and reliability of our production systems.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in full-stack software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a proven track record of delivering successful, high-quality products.
• Skills: Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design, coupled with strong experience in back-end languages like Node.js, Python, Java, or Go. Solid understanding and experience with both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), including advanced SQL query optimization. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and demonstrated ability to design and consume robust RESTful APIs or GraphQL services. Strong commitment to software quality, experience with various testing methodologies (unit, integration, E2E), and expert proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices, or prior experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
