About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic product development team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable software solutions that drive our core products forward. You will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment, while also mentoring junior engineers and championing best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance, scalable software applications and services.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of new features, significant system enhancements, and architectural improvements.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver innovative solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code that adheres to established coding standards and best practices.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and development within the team.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to shape the future of our technical stack and infrastructure.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and development methodologies, applying relevant insights to our development processes.
• Champion best engineering practices, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), automated testing, and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong portfolio of shipped products and projects.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C#, or JavaScript (Node.js).
• Demonstrated experience with designing and building distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design principles, and software design patterns.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and devise effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) if applicable to the role’s domain.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile showcasing personal projects.
• Previous experience in a technical leadership or mentorship role, guiding junior team members.
• Domain knowledge in AI, machine learning, or data analytics.
