What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software modules and systems across the product portfolio.
• Code: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and highly scalable code using industry best practices and modern programming languages.
• Review: Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate: Partner closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver high-impact features.
• Mentor: Mentor junior engineers, share technical knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical growth within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, for a Senior-level software development role.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong track record of shipping successful products or making significant contributions to large-scale projects, including demonstrated experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, C++, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript), solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles, experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture and building highly scalable, distributed systems, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, prior experience in a technical leadership or formal mentoring role, contributions to open-source or personal projects, experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) for full-stack roles, and understanding of security best practices in software development.
