Job Title: Final Documents Specialist

This Final Documents Specialist role is responsible for the critical task of processing incoming final documents, meticulously updating the loan operating system with accurate final document receipt and shipment dates. The specialist will monitor reports daily and engage in proactive follow-up with title agents to ensure the timely delivery of these essential documents to investors.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and accurately image original final documents.
  • Ensure proper and timely shipment of documents to the appropriate end investor.
  • Maintain and regularly update investor final document reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of all final documents and facilitate necessary corrections.
  • Assist with various other post-closing functions, including processing release requests, assignments, and transfers.
  • Proactively follow up with title agents to retrieve overdue final documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support post-closing operations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous closing or title experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with relevant processes.

Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with internal and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a group environment or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
