Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM)

Springfield Treatment Center is seeking a Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) who brings compassion, purpose, and a genuine dedication to supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

Salary: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Location: Must be willing to work at both Springfield and Eugene locations as needed.

Experience Required: Minimum of six months of relevant experience.

Treatment Center Hours

  • Monday – Friday: 5:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Rotating Saturdays: 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

What does a Certified Recovery Mentor do?

As a Certified Recovery Mentor, you will play a vital role in our clients’ recovery journeys:

  • Attend group sessions alongside primary counselors, serving as a positive role model and reinforcing valuable suggestions based on your personal experiences.
  • Provide essential support that traditional counseling cannot, including telephonic support, case management, and meeting clients at community or 12-step gatherings.
  • Work closely with clients at various stages of recovery, empowering them to make informed, independent choices.
  • Connect clients with invaluable community resources.
  • Embrace a flexible work schedule that accommodates early mornings, evenings, and weekends to meet clients where they are most comfortable and ready to grow.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Certified as a Recovery Mentor issued by the Oregon state licensing body.
  • Meet state requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
  • Adherence to federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances, even those legal at the state level.
  • Current driver’s license.
