As a Project Management Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents in the seamless coordination and execution of diverse construction projects. This hands-on internship offers an invaluable opportunity to immerse yourself in key project management functions, including meticulous documentation, efficient scheduling, critical communication, and essential field support within a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment.

This role is designed to provide you with a robust foundation, allowing you to develop practical skills and a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry’s operational demands and best practices.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Provide comprehensive assistance and support to Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents on assigned construction projects.
  • Demonstrate exceptional flexibility and adaptability, operating as a proactive team player with strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Manage the processing of submittals, meticulously gather information, and accurately distribute it to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain high-quality project documentation, ensuring all project processes adhere to established budgets and remain on schedule.
  • Actively participate in project meetings, diligently recording and accurately distributing meeting minutes to all attendees.
  • Assist with the systematic tracking and thorough inspection of material deliveries to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
  • Execute various other tasks as assigned by the project team, contributing to overall project success and operational efficiency.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated, genuine interest in construction management and the broader construction industry, evidenced through coursework, projects, or prior experiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer efficiency is required for daily tasks.
  • Basic understanding of math and accounting principles relevant to project budgeting, tracking, and financial oversight.
