About the Job: Claims Call Center Specialist

We are seeking enthusiastic and empathetic Claims Call Center Specialists to join our growing insurance company, Warrior Insurance Network (WIN)! This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy helping others and thriving in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:

As a Claims Call Center Specialist, you will be the crucial first point of contact for our valued customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Taking initial reports of losses from insureds and claimants.
  • Providing clear, initial information about the claims process.
  • Referring customers for estimates when coverage is applicable.
  • Assisting adjusters by answering claim-related questions and guiding customers through the process.
  • Accurately documenting claim details and resolving issues.
  • Developing a basic understanding of insurance policies to answer inquiries related to losses.
  • Maintaining call volume in line with unit objectives.
  • Assisting with various ongoing unit responsibilities, such as processing tow bills, ordering police reports, mailing claim checks, and handling unmatched mail, as needed.
  • Working on special projects as directed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Excellent phone communication skills.
  • Solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good typing/data entry skills (minimum 30 WPM).
  • Good PC skills.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Insurance experience is a plus!

Estimated Compensation:

The estimated compensation range for this position is $15/hr – $16/hr. Please note that published ranges are estimates, and the final offered compensation will be based on your experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
