What You’ll Actually Do
• System Development: Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of critical software systems and applications.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverable features.
• Technical Oversight: Drive technical discussions, perform in-depth code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Architecture: Contribute to architectural decision-making, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with company goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software. Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and databases (relational and/or NoSQL).
• Skills: Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript). Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design principles, and distributed systems. Proven ability to lead technical projects, make sound architectural decisions, and solve complex technical challenges.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless technologies, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or infrastructure as code (Terraform). Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) and event-driven architectures. Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) if applicable, contributions to open-source projects, or experience in a high-growth startup environment.
