Key Responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications and services from concept to production, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.
• Architectural Contribution: Contribute to and evolve the architecture of new and existing systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Code Quality and Best Practices: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code. Conduct thorough code reviews and advocate for engineering best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentorship and Growth: Mentor junior and mid-level developers, sharing knowledge, performing pair programming, and promoting professional growth within the team.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues across the application stack, from front-end rendering to database queries.
• Operational Excellence: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support for applications in production environments.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development with a strong portfolio of deployed applications.
• Front-End Expertise: Deep proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Back-End Mastery: Extensive experience with at least one major back-end language and framework (e.g., Node.js with Express/NestJS, Python with Django/Flask, Java with Spring Boot, C# with .NET Core).
• Database Skills: Strong understanding and practical experience with both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including familiarity with serverless architectures and containerization.
• DevOps & Tooling: Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), Docker, and container orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
• API Design: Proven ability to design and implement robust, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs. Experience with GraphQL is a bonus.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Mocha, JUnit).
• Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role within an engineering team.
