What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and performant backend services and APIs for the AI/ML platform using modern cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate: Partner with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Product Managers to transform research prototypes and innovative concepts into robust, production-ready systems.
• Build: Create and maintain comprehensive MLOps infrastructure encompassing model training pipelines, deployment strategies, continuous monitoring, and experimentation frameworks.
• Optimize: Improve existing systems for performance, cost-efficiency, security, and maintainability to ensure the platform can scale with demand.
• Contribute: Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies, frameworks, and best practices that advance platform capabilities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive professional experience in backend software development, with a strong emphasis on building and operating scalable, distributed systems.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, or Go; solid understanding of distributed systems concepts and microservices architecture; hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and robust CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with various data storage solutions.
• Bonus: Direct experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX; practical experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker, Azure ML, or Vertex AI; experience with big data technologies including Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or Apache Kafka; a solid understanding of core machine learning concepts; prior experience working on AI/ML platforms, infrastructure, or tooling teams.
