What We Look For In an Algebra 2 Tutor

  • Familiar with various Algebra 2 curricula and common student struggles, including logarithm laws, rational function graphing, and conic section equations.
  • Ability to adapt explanations using technology graphing tools, real-world data sets, and scaffolded practice to support students preparing for AP Calculus or SAT/ACT mathematics sections.
• Effective Teaching Methods:
  • Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with and explain material using multiple approaches.
  • Adept at adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
• Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
