What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Design, develop, and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with product managers, front-end engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and innovative solutions.
• Architect: Contribute to architecture and design discussions, providing expert insights and making key technical decisions that impact the platform’s future.
• Code: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor: Mentor junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, focused on backend software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on building scalable web services and extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js), deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, and a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Bonus: Experience with distributed systems and handling large-scale data processing, knowledge of security best practices in software development, and contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
