This role is crucial for helping students improve their ACT Math scores, enhance overall test readiness, and achieve their academic learning goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide: Provide personalized 1-on-1 and instant online tutoring in all ACT Math topics to students.
• Explain: Explain complex ACT Math concepts, including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, using multiple approaches.
• Teach: Teach strategic problem-solving methods, such as rapid solution identification, backsolving techniques, and calculator efficiency, to maximize speed and accuracy.
• Adapt: Adapt instruction through timed drills, formula sheet creation, and targeted practice to meet individual student learning needs and styles.
• Utilize: Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance tutoring sessions with real-time instructional support and lesson generation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge across all ACT Math topics including pre-algebra, elementary algebra, intermediate algebra, coordinate geometry, plane geometry, and trigonometry.
• Experience: A minimum ACT Math score of 31, along with proven methods for achieving score improvement in ACT Math.
• Skills: Proficiency in teaching strategic problem-solving and rapid solution identification within a timed test environment. Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and student needs, focusing on common pitfalls and weak areas. Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style to explain material effectively.
