What You’ll Actually Do
• Teach: Provide personalized, one-on-one and instant online instruction to students in Pre-Calculus, covering advanced functions, analytic geometry, and calculus readiness.
• Guide: Lead students through conceptual understanding and problem-solving, including analyzing function composition, graphing complex functions, and working with vectors and matrices.
• Adapt: Adjust instructional methods using graphing technology, visual representations, and scaffolded problems to meet individual learning needs and prepare students for AP or college placement.
• Communicate: Employ strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style to explain challenging Pre-Calculus concepts using multiple approaches.
• Support: Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features, saving prep time.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Advanced subject mastery in Pre-Calculus, including deep knowledge of advanced functions, analytic geometry, vectors, matrices, sequences and series, and limits, with the ability to prepare students for calculus concepts and AP examinations.
• Experience: Proven ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles, and familiarity with precalculus curricula and common challenges.
• Skills:
• Skilled at analyzing function composition, inverses, transformations, and guiding students through solving trigonometric equations and understanding series convergence.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Ability to explain material using multiple approaches and adapt instruction to diverse learning styles.
• Familiarity with using graphing technology and visual representations in teaching.
