What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions using modern technologies and architectural patterns.
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative features.
• Ensure Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their growth and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Strategize: Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, evaluating new technologies and recommending solutions that align with strategic goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for a Master’s degree.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on full-stack or backend engineering, including demonstrated experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python), strong experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and API design/development.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, front-end frameworks like React, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, secure coding principles, or contributions to open-source projects.
