What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Oversee the full software development lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance of scalable applications.
• Build Solutions: Architect and implement robust features and services for the core platform, ensuring high quality and maintainability.
• Drive Innovation: Research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies and best practices to enhance systems and development processes.
• Mentor Team: Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and foster continuous learning among junior engineers.
• Collaborate Effectively: Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in backend or full-stack engineering with a modern tech stack.
• Skills: Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Go, C#, or Node.js), strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Bonus: Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), or contributions to open-source projects.
