What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Lead the design, development, and deployment of critical backend services and APIs, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability for the core platform.
• Collaborate: Partner closely with product managers, architects, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and elegant software solutions.
• Code: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices and coding standards, and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot: Debug complex issues across various environments, identifying root causes and implementing effective resolutions.
• Mentor: Guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems and distributed architectures.
• Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software development; proven experience designing and building highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and RESTful APIs; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Go, Python, C#, or Node.js; deep understanding and hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases; strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles; excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication.
