Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software features and services across our platform.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to optimize performance and address technical debt.
• Contribute to the technical vision and strategy, influencing technology choices and architectural decisions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend or full-stack development.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, C#, or Node.js.
• Extensive experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
• Demonstrated experience designing and building scalable APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) and microservices.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid grasp of testing methodologies and experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality code.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
• Experience with real-time data processing or large-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) if interested in full-stack contributions.
