Sales Associate Intern | DCPS
The Tone:
This is an internship at DCPS, located in Englewood, CO. DCPS is a prominent commercial property services contractor serving over 1,100 clients across Colorado and Arizona, offering integrated solutions across multiple specialized service divisions. This role is crucial for supporting the dynamic Sales Division, which drives over $80 million in annual revenue, by assisting with operations, analytics, and strategic growth initiatives. The TL;DR

• Pay: $18–$22 hourly
• Team: Sales Department, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
• Mission: Provide essential operational, analytical, and logistical support to the Sales Department to facilitate strategic growth and high-volume B2B sales activities.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, CRM platforms (such as Salesforce)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Proposals: Assist in the coordination and preparation of proposals and other sales documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Event Logistics: Provide comprehensive logistical support for client and association events, including tradeshows, golf outings, and other industry functions.
• Campaign Coordination: Support the coordination and organization of sales team initiatives such as sales blitzes, client outreach campaigns, and marketing-related events.
• Reporting & Analytics: Assist Sales Leadership with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, and prepare professional presentations and dashboards to visualize sales data.
• KPI Tracking & Account Development: Support the tracking of team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance benchmarks, and assist with account development planning efforts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated strong interest in B2B sales or revenue operations, high attention to detail, strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Bonus: Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), previous internship or leadership experience, a genuine interest in a long-term career in commercial sales, and a valid driver’s license.
