About the Job: Relationship Banker (Member Advisor I/II)

What You’ll Do:
As a Relationship Banker, you will embody SECU’s brand by delivering comprehensive financial education and services. Your role is dynamic and impactful, focusing on building deep, lasting relationships and promoting financial well-being within the community. Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Member Consultation: Engaging with members to understand their banking needs, reviewing existing relationships, and offering tailored financial solutions.
- Financial Planning: Strategizing with members to help them achieve significant life milestones, such as saving for college, purchasing a home, planning a wedding, or securing a business loan.
- Community Engagement: Representing SECU at local businesses or community events, educating participants about financial literacy and SECU’s diverse offerings.
- Volunteerism: Participating in SECU volunteer events, with the opportunity to earn up to 12 hours of paid time off per quarter, demonstrating SECU’s commitment to community service.
- Relationship Building: Utilizing your engaging personality to build emotional connections and nurture diverse, inclusive relationships and networks within SECU and the communities served.
- Advocacy: Actively promoting financial literacy, the credit union movement, and SECU’s talent brand.
- Impactful Service: Consistently demonstrating empathy, compassion, and heart, while being authentic and knowledgeable about SECU banking products and services, to foster increased member loyalty.

What We’re Looking For:
- Consultative Sales Experience: Proven experience in a financial or banking industry role with a strong track record of building customer loyalty and expanding financial literacy and well-being.
- Goal Attainment: Demonstrated ability to achieve goals through strong familiarity with a wide range of retail banking products and services.

Compensation Information:
Based on experience and qualifications, candidates may be hired as a Member Advisor I or Member Advisor II.
- Member Advisor I/Relationship Banker I: Hourly Pay Range: Min. $21.35 – Max. $32.02
- Member Advisor II/Relationship Banker II: Hourly Pay Range: Min. $24.62 – Max. $39.42
The final offer will be determined based on your years of experience and education.
