What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide personalized 1-on-1 online instruction to individual graduate-level statistics students nationally.
• Explain complex statistical concepts, theories, and derivations, guiding students through advanced problem-solving techniques.
• Adapt instruction to align with graduate statistics curricula, addressing common challenges and diverse learning styles.
• Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• Manage your own flexible tutoring schedule and invoice for sessions, with all payment logistics handled by the platform.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate-level proficiency in statistics, demonstrating deep knowledge of mathematical statistics and related advanced concepts.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to teach and guide students through research methodology, doctoral-level statistical analysis, and implementing statistical models in software.
• Skills:
• Advanced subject mastery in mathematical statistics, including maximum likelihood estimation, Bayesian inference, regression analysis, and generalized linear models.
• Proficiency in conceptual teaching, breaking down complex derivations, designing experiments, and performing multivariate analysis.
• Familiarity with graduate statistics curricula and ability to adapt instruction using R or Python statistical computing.
• Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style that can adapt to individual student learning needs.
