What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide personalized, 1-on-1 online instruction to individual students in graduate-level statistics.
• Set your own flexible schedule, determining when and how much you want to tutor.
• Utilize AI-powered support tools to enhance tutoring sessions, generate lessons, and streamline prep time.
• Break down complex theoretical concepts such as likelihood function derivations, posterior distribution calculations, and ANOVA decompositions.
• Guide students through advanced applications like designing experiments, performing multivariate analysis, and implementing statistical models in software.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Advanced subject mastery of mathematical statistics, including maximum likelihood estimation, hypothesis testing theory, Bayesian inference, and regression analysis. Familiarity with graduate statistics curricula and common challenges faced by masters and doctoral students.
• Experience: Proven ability to explain asymptotic theory, Neyman-Pearson lemma, and generalized linear models. Skilled at preparing students for research methodology and doctoral-level statistical analysis.
• Skills: Deep knowledge of multivariate methods, experimental design, and nonparametric statistics. Proficiency in using R or Python for statistical computing. Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style to adapt instruction to individual learning needs.
