Security Officer – Entry Level | Securitas Security Services USA, Inc.

The TL;DR

• Mission: To actively monitor premises, observe and report incidents, and enforce regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients’ property and personnel.

What You’ll Actually Do
Observation & Reporting: Observe and accurately report all activities and incidents at the assigned client site, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Patrolling: Conduct active patrols across a variety of locations on the premises, which involves both walking and driving, to diligently monitor the environment.
Order Maintenance: Preserve order and uphold a secure environment by enforcing established regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the site area.
Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact, providing excellent customer service and helpful information to the client’s employees and customers.
Regulation Enforcement: Ensure compliance with all site-specific rules and guidelines, directly contributing to the overall safety and security of the client’s operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professionals are encouraged to apply, regardless of prior experience, with a welcoming environment for those transitioning from retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds.
• Experience: No prior security experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to fully prepare you for a successful career in the security industry. Previous customer service experience is considered a valuable asset.
• Skills: Demonstrated excellent customer service capabilities; ability to successfully complete a mandatory drug screen and background check; and the capacity to meet and continuously maintain all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements specific to Security Officers/Guards.
• Bonus: A background in customer service, retail, food service, or hospitality, which aligns with the strong emphasis on client and public interaction in this role.
