What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable, secure, and performant software applications.
• Collaborate: Work with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Architect: Implement clean, maintainable, and efficient code in modern languages such as Python, Java, or Go, adhering to industry best practices.
• Contribute: Participate in architectural discussions and make strategic technical decisions for long-term scalability and alignment.
• Mentor: Guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster continuous learning and professional development.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field, with a solid grasp of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and fundamental software design patterns.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on professional software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and resilient software solutions from concept to production. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and relevant frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, Node.js, React, Angular).
• Skills: Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Go, C#), exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, excellent verbal and written communication, and familiarity with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) database technologies.
• Bonus: Practical experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, commitment to software development best practices (including testing, security, and performance optimization), and a strong desire to continuously learn and adopt new technologies.
