Growth Equity Portfolio Value Creation (PVC) Summer Analyst

As a Growth Equity Portfolio Value Creation (PVC) Summer Analyst at Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), you will be an integral part of our value creation team, collaborating closely with our portfolio companies and the SGE investment team. This role is designed to accelerate the growth and efficiency of high-growth technology, franchise, and services companies, typically ranging from $5 million to $100 million+ in revenue. You will gain invaluable experience by directly interacting with portfolio company leadership on critical strategic initiatives such as go-to-market strategies, pricing optimization, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the equity value creation process. Exceptional summer analysts will be considered for full-time opportunities at SGE upon graduation.

In This Role You Will:

  • Own and lead specific value-added projects with portfolio company executives, working alongside members of the value creation team.
  • Support with brainstorming the most impactful ways to drive more meaningful equity value creation across the portfolio, exploring areas like AI integration, payment solutions, pricing strategies, and more.
  • Analyze portfolio company performance to identify risk and opportunity areas for growth and efficiency.
  • Benchmark key capabilities and best practices across various portfolio companies to foster cross-pollination of successful strategies.
  • Formalize playbooks, repeatable processes, and toolkits for portfolio companies to scale best practices.
  • Strengthen the SGE portfolio company community through collaborative initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with other members of the PVC team and the investment team to evolve the function and impact of value creation at SGE.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using AI tools to their fullest ability – including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Clay, Bolt, and Manus.
  • Demonstrated use of AI and technology to improve work efficiency, enhance critical thinking, accelerate processes, or produce higher-quality output, alongside a genuine curiosity to continually learn as these tools evolve.
  • Intellectual curiosity about learning new tools and topics.
  • Intention to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within one year of the internship program.
