Growth Equity Portfolio Value Creation (PVC) Summer Analyst | Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE)
The Tone:
This is an internship at Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), located in Greater Philadelphia (Bala Cynwyd). SGE is a leading growth equity firm that invests in high-growth software, internet, and business services companies across the United States, Europe, and Israel, backed by Susquehanna International Group (SIG). The Portfolio Value Creation (PVC) Summer Analyst will be an integral part of the value creation team, collaborating directly with portfolio company leadership and the SGE investment team. This role focuses on accelerating portfolio company performance and creating significant equity value by addressing critical strategic initiatives like go-to-market strategies, pricing optimization, and AI integration.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Own and lead specific value-added projects with portfolio company executives.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze portfolio company performance to identify risk and opportunity areas for growth and efficiency.
• Strategic Benchmarking: Benchmark key capabilities and best practices across various portfolio companies to foster cross-pollination of successful strategies.
• Process Formalization: Formalize playbooks, repeatable processes, and toolkits for portfolio companies to scale best practices.
• Community Building: Strengthen the SGE portfolio company community through collaborative initiatives and knowledge sharing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career individual with an impressive academic record demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence. Applicants must intend to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within one year of the internship program. A demonstrated interest in career paths such as consulting, strategy, or operations is essential.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest in working with entrepreneurial, high-growth tech businesses is required, alongside proven leadership experience from academic, professional, or extracurricular settings. Candidates should have experience using AI tools to their fullest ability, including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Clay, Bolt, and Manus, to improve work efficiency, enhance critical thinking, accelerate processes, or produce higher-quality output.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills are necessary. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for interacting with senior leadership and SGE partners. Superb critical thinking ability is required to tackle complex business challenges, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is also expected.
