Your Summer Internship at Zurich Cover-More

Our Summer Internship Program is designed to give curious and motivated students hands-on experience in the travel insurance and assistance industry – and an inside look at how a global business operates.

You’ll spend 10–12 weeks embedded in our Technology team, working on real projects that contribute to our global digital platforms. You will support leaders including our VP of IT and a Lead Developer, gain exposure to modern engineering practices, and contribute to meaningful work that directly impacts Travel Guard’s digital ecosystem. You’ll receive ongoing coaching and development and will have the opportunity to present your work to senior leaders at the end of your placement.

Whether you’re building digital content, supporting application engineering, or contributing to unit testing and quality assurance, your internship will provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful exposure to a values‑driven organization committed to helping people travel more confidently.

What You’ll Be Working On

Primary Projects:

• Content Authoring – Travel Guard
  • Assist with the creation and publishing of web pages for the Travel Guard global web technology suite.
  • Work within Adobe Experience Manager to build digital assets.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams.
• Application Unit Testing – Travel Guard Applications
  • Assist developers in writing and documenting unit tests.
  • Support application quality and validation processes.
  • Learn how application engineering supports end‑to‑end operations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for rising junior and senior students who are:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Computer Science or equivalent preferred).
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Strong communicators with an ability to work well in a team (extracurricular experience is a bonus).
• Detail-oriented, with strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Creative thinkers who are naturally inquisitive.
• Empathetic and able to put themselves in others’ shoes.
• Problem solvers who are open to innovation.
• Interested in content management, SEO, or application engineering.
• Someone who takes initiative and jumps in where needed.
• Available to join us over the summer.

You do not need to have travel insurance experience – we’ll teach you what you need to know. What matters most is your mindset and willingness to grow.
