What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Authoring: Assist with the creation and publishing of web pages for the Travel Guard global web technology suite.
• Digital Asset Management: Work within Adobe Experience Manager to build and manage digital assets, collaborating with content, design, and development teams.
• Unit Test Development: Assist developers in writing and documenting unit tests for Travel Guard applications.
• Quality Assurance Support: Support application quality and validation processes, learning how application engineering contributes to end-to-end operations.
• Project Contribution: Contribute to the ongoing development of global digital platforms and digital ecosystems, supporting leaders in the Technology team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Rising junior or senior student currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, with Computer Science or an equivalent field preferred. This is an early career role designed for motivated students.
• Experience: No prior travel insurance experience is required; a willingness to learn is paramount. Candidates must be available to join us over the summer for the 10-12 week program.
• Skills: Proficiency in or eagerness to learn Java Development, Web Development, and Content Management, as well as Agile principles. Strong communication, detail-orientation, time-management, and organizational skills are essential for team collaboration and project contribution. An inquisitive and problem-solving mindset, coupled with empathy, is highly valued.
• Bonus: Extracurricular experience is a plus, and an interest in content management, SEO, or application engineering will be beneficial for this role.
