What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications across the full stack.
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality features.
• Code: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code using modern frameworks and programming languages.
• Implement: Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrate with third-party services.
• Optimize: Manage and optimize database schemas and queries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, with 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• Experience: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, combined with strong back-end development experience using languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or Go. Solid understanding of both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) database systems, along with experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; and strong communication and interpersonal skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS); familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda); experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment; contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
