What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide personalized, 1-on-1 online instruction to individual students in graduate-level statistics.
• Support students in mastering advanced statistical concepts like maximum likelihood estimation, Bayesian inference, and hypothesis testing.
• Guide students through designing experiments, performing multivariate analysis, and implementing statistical models in software.
• Prepare master’s and doctoral students for research methodology and advanced statistical analysis.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests to provide instant support whenever available.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate-level expertise in advanced statistics, encompassing mathematical statistics, asymptotic theory, and generalized linear models.
• Experience: Proven skill in breaking down complex statistical derivations such as likelihood functions, posterior distributions, and ANOVA decompositions.
• Skills: Deep knowledge of mathematical statistics, hypothesis testing theory, regression analysis, and multivariate methods.
• Skills: Ability to guide students through conceptual teaching, problem-solving, and practical application of statistical models.
• Skills: Familiarity with graduate statistics curricula, common student challenges, and adaptive instruction using R or Python statistical computing.
